Over the centuries, shawls have come to symbolize shelter, peace, and spiritual
The Rehoboth Prayer Shawl Ministry was started in Spring of 2007, with only a handful of knitters. However, on July 29, 2007, we dedicated 14 shawls. Since August 2007, we have met once a month to work on shawls and lapghans. We have knitters, crocheters, and non-needleworkers attending these meetings. We have also opened these meetings to members of other churches and the meetings are lively, productive, and provide a great feeling of fellowship among all attendees. |
